Going Blind is now available through A Closer Look’s video distribution.

Three options of the documentary are available: a “Standard Version” for regular viewing, an “Audio Described Version” for visually impaired viewers featuring an additional audio description of the video, and a “Captioned Version” for the hearing impaired. Streaming is available for two-day access.

Educational DVD

Currently, Going Blind DVD is only available through educational licensing for US $300 plus any applicable tax, shipping, and handling. The DVD is now fully equipped with audio description. If you wish to purchase by check, please contact Joseph Lovett at lovett(at)acloserlook.org.

The DVD features include full-length and chaptered formats dividing the film chronologically, by character and by eye disease. In addition to the audio description, this version includes English and Spanish subtitles as well as a feature to play the film without either subtitles or audio description. The educational license allows organizations to screen the film for the public in perpetuity.
